Ruston Lofts Policies


Reservations Payment and Cancellation Policy

Guests must be at least 25 years of age to rent.

A copy of a valid photo ID of the primary Guest is required for all bookings.

Reservation Payment: A payment of 50% is due to reserve the property. Balance will be due 14 days prior to check-in date. For reservations made 14 days or less prior to check-in date, the entire amount is due immediately.

Security Deposit: A hold of $250.00 will be placed on the Guest's credit card exactly 1 day prior to arrival for incidentals. The hold will be released in full within 7 days after check-out if there are no damages or excessive cleaning required.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Ruston Lofts is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control.  Compensation or refunds will not be given for street noise, traffic issues, downtown events as well as any type of power outages, internet outages, water outages, or weather conditions. 

Ruston Lofts is not responsible for personal emergencies or schedule changes. There are no refunds for shortened stays or early departures. 

A valid credit card is required to make a reservation and you agree that the card you provide will be charged for any damages or missing items. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

 

General Policies

Invisible Service: Ruston Lofts provides an Invisible Service experience to our guests. We work behind the scenes to give our guests a more private and independent stay. Our hands-off approach to hospitality means we do not have a front desk or a visible staff on site. However, a property manager is simply a text, email, or phone call away should you need anything.

Check-in and Check-out Times: Check-in is 4pm and Check-out is 11am.

Occupancy: A maximum of two adult overnight guests per suite. A maximum of two daytime visitors (non-registered guests) per suite is allowed onto the property. An occupancy fee will be charged if violated.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Overcrowding/Noise/Parties: Overcrowding, violating quiet hours, and disruptive parties including any action by a guest deemed inappropriate are not allowed. Violation of these policies will result in immediate eviction from property without refund.

No Smoking: Ruston Lofts is a 100% non-smoking building. Any evidence of smoking on the property will result in a $500 fee. For the safety and protection of this property's historic building, the use of candles and incense is prohibited.

Pets: We do not allow pets on the property. Evidence of pets will result in eviction without a refund, a violation fee, plus the cost of any damaged property.

Commercial Filming & Photography: We do not allow commercial filming or photography in the rooms or on property grounds.

Housekeeping: A full housekeeping service is provided prior to check-in but there is no daily housekeeping service.

Check-in Instructions: Complete instructions, including access codes for the front door and for the suite, will be provided after balance is paid and a few days prior to check in.

Parking: Free street parking is available in front of the Ruston Lofts building for drop off/pick up. Street Parking has a 3 hour time limit M-F, 8am-5pm. Untimed/Overnight parking would best be in the Sexton Parking lot downtown, across the street from Railroad Park. The Sexton Parking Lot is located on N. Vienna St between the railroad tracks and E. Park Avenue, just one block away.
